It's been a month since I last blogged and it's due to a number of commitments. The NTU-NIE speech contest was the number one huge commitment as it took up huge chunks of my valuable time and being the co-chair, I had to do loads of planning and coordination with my other co-chair,exco and external visitors. The event took place last thursday with a few minor hiccups but I would say the event was quite a success considering the fact that there were quite a number of last minute changes. Esther filled in the MC slot at the last minute and I was relieved that she agreed to be the MC at the last minute.
Another major commitment is my studies as I had 3 quizzes last week and I was frantically studying for the quizzes as I was lagging behind in my subjects and I'm glad that the quizzes are finally over as I took a break over the Chinese New Year Period. I love CNY as the holidays are usually long and since I had no visiting to do, I just relaxed at home.
It seems most of my classmates and I are suffering from post-CNY celebrations as they couldn't shake off the visible CNY hangover from their visitng and gambling. I can't wait for the one week holiday to start as I have huge plans for the one week break where my first priority is to catch up on work and secondly do some catching up with friends over the one week break before studies take a toll on me and my social lifestyle after the one week break.
Lastly, I hate technical communication as the subject is so boring and I do not have an ounce of interest in that subject. I prefer my other core subjects(surprisingly) to technical communication as the subject itself is monotonous and the case studies are damn boring. I wish this semester ends as quickly as possible...
