Ceasefire!!

If you have been following the news, Israel has not relented on its pursuit of Hezbollah and it is still bombing Southern Lebanon as they deem Lebanon incapable of destroying Hezbollah, the terrorist organisation which has went on the offensive as well, claiming close to 30 Israeli casualties and Israel is taking matters into its own hands after Hezbollah captured two Israeli soliders. Israel felt that they shouldn't negotiate with the terrorist organization which was demanding release of political prisioners in exchange for the release of the 2 captured soliders. I applaud Israel's decision to not to engage in any negotiations with Hezbollah as the negotiations might spark off more demands and kidnappings by Hezbollah in the future if Israel decides to act soft in the crisis which is highly unlikely considering the fact that Israel went through a few major wars with the Arab coalition in the past and even managed to capture some land.
However, Israel's continued pursuit of Hezbollah by bombing Southern Lebanon was a big no-no as lots of Lebanese civilian lives are lost in the war and Israael's recent air raid on a Lebanese town killed almost 50 civilians. Israel feels the need to defend itself from its volatile and unpredictable neighbours but it doesn't need to engage in such warfare which has lead to international outrage(with the exception of America) and its actions has garnered support for Hezbollah in recent weeks from the Arab community in Middle East.
The first thing that needs to be done is to have a ceasefire as more innocent lives could be saved if an immediate ceasefire was issued by America and the UN. It's an open secret that Israel is dependant on America economically and America could flex its muscles but Mr Bush is unable to do that as we all know that the Jewish lobby is very powerful in America and he might lose their support if he decides to act against Israel which feels that a ceasefire will allow Hezbollah to regroup and become stronger.
Secondly, America and UN have to flex their muscles and force Iran and Syria if they can prove to give up their state funding to Hezbollah as any terrorist organization should be condemned and the escalation of the crisis was due to Hezbollah. I believe Hezbollah does not have the capablity to destroy Israel as Israel's technology is far superior(what do you expect when it comes from Uncle Sam) to that of Hezbollah. The major players like UN, the Security Council and of course, our favourite country, America can't do anything much in this crisis as it is very complicated and the crisis can only end if Israel and Hezbollah stop their offensive on each other and America and UN collectively issue a stern warning(which is unlikely) to Israel if they engage in such warfare and also cut off the fiance links with Hezbollah and make both Lebanon and Israel come to the table table to get things sorted out!! At least, issue the Ceasefire..Dammit!!!!!!
